PUR SCHOEN has its roots in the 1970s, when Hamburg native Alexander Frieborg traveled to Asia for the first time and was fascinated by the region around India, Nepal and Tibet. Thanks to his deep cultural ties and his fluent Nepali, he was able to build close and fair business relationships that laid the foundation for today's brand.
