The Panama hat is handmade in Ecuador from toquilla straw, a native palm species. UNESCO added Panama's traditional weaving art to its list of intangible cultural heritage of humanity in 2012.
This hat has all the typical Lastelier features, including a patented interior pocket for your hotel key or money, an elastic interior band to keep it on even in windy conditions, and black interior panels so you can apply sunscreen or makeup without worrying about stains.
